When Melissa saw Kiki’s April Fools Day post about Chili Peppah Water lipstick, Melissa let her know she could make that joke a reality, and Kiki was all for it! As we use only biocompatible, locally sourced animal fats as the base for all of our products, it made sense to use lard we had procured from Musi as the base for this lip balm - we all know how important the pig is to Hawaiian culture & cuisine!

Caitlin McCormack, Philadelphia’s famed fiber artist, is secretly Kiki’s photoshop partner in non-crime. We always dream up ridiculous fake campaigns and Caitlin manifested our dream of a Chili Peppah Water lipstick into an April Fool’s graphic for Poi Dog’s Instagram. It was never meant to be real.
